Field Operator

Job Description
Monitoring and controlling the operation of process equipment
Routine rounds, running equipment change over and shift activities
Involved in Start-up and shutdown activities of Plant
Prepare and isolate equipment for maintenance activities and reinstate on completion
Purging and de-isolating ensuring all work permits have been cleared before bringing production back online
Monitoring in daily basis the good application of Lock out Tag out and PTW of maintenance workers in the field
Inform the Shift Supervisor or control room Operator of any unusual observations such as noise, spillage, and leakage, making process adjustments in accordance with instructions from the CCR Operator
Identify deviations from standard operating conditions and initiate corrective actions.
Monitor and log the parameters of all types of process equipment (level, pressure, temperature, flow etc.)
Understand, adhere and comply with the site EH&S policy.

Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma mandatory
Bachelor / Master degree in HSE preferably
5 years’ experience in similar position is mandatory
10 years’ experience in similar position is preferably
Competent with Microsoft Office products, Internet, Systems Management, and other database programs
Meticulous, pro-active with positive attitude and willing to learn
Responsible for preparing equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming and other procedures as required
Responsible for preparation such as plant isolation etc., for day-to-day maintenance work
Perform daily check and minor maintenance based on the check list etc
Take appropriate actions in accordance with Panel Operator and Lead Operator in case of emergency
Work directly with the foreign experts in the transfer of technical advice during the initial period of operation
Receive firefighting training based on firefighting training program preparing for emergency
Some of field operator, if appointed temporary firefighting crew, acts as a one of firefighting crew In case of emergency.
