TSK Energia e Desenvolvimento (Energy and Development) last week signed 3 new contracts in Brazil, thus consolidating the activity and structure of the TSK group in this country for the next years.
The first contract involves the electromechanical assembly of a hydroelectric plant, the second such plant TSK will work on in this country and barely 15 kilometers from the first, on the banks of the Araguari River, in the state of AMAPA. The plant belongs to EDP and consists of 3 Bulbo turbines, to be supplied by ALSTOM, with a total generated power of 220 MW.
Furthermore, EDP has awarded TSK the EPC construction of a 138 KV Substation for the evacuation of energy generated by the wind farms the Portuguese multinational is building in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
TSK is already working in this state, on the construction of a complex of 5 wind farms belonging to the Spanish company GESTAMP and with start-up projected to take place by the end of 2014, and has been contracted to participate in five more wind farms by the state-owned company FURNAS.
The grand total of these contracts comes to 100 million BRL, or close to 32 million Euros.
