President of Mozambique, Mr. Filipe Jacinto Nyusi inaugurates power plant built by TSK.

The event was attended by President Nyusi, as well as by country authorities and managers of local firm GIGAWATT which participated in the project as promoters, headed by their president D. Castigo Langa, and local Company WBHO who took part as builders for the civil work.
TSK was represented by Jose María González, managing director of the Presidency Department, Ignacio de la Puente, Industrial Plant Projects manager, and Rafael Lapique, manager for TSK-South Africa.
The plant, built under an EPC contract, consists of 13 Rolls Royce engines, with a unit capacity of 9,335 MWe, giving a gross capacity of 121,355 MW, and includes the substation also built by TSK to distribute the power.
